Welcome

Like a Gazelle Productions came into existence in 2009 when two friends (Rory Hutcheson and Gary Crombie) had a great idea to make a feature length film. After all, how hard could it be?!!! After a year of writing a screenplay and learning about the art of filmmaking we embarked on a week's tour of the Highlands with a small crew and began filming 'The Last Gallivant'. About 6 months later the editing was complete and we had our first film.

With a bit of determination and self belief there's not much you can't do. Ultimately we want to make great films; feature length films, short films, documentaries, music videos; and if there are people who want to do the same but don't know how, we're here to help.

Like a Gazelle Productions plan to do the following:
Create new audiences through the latest in social media, bringing the furthest reaches of the region on to a national platform.
Help to develop other local film-makers and assist them in bringing their own projects to life. 
To highlight and support the unique culture of the Highlands and Islands.
Invest time and money in the production of high quality films, from conceiving the original idea, right through to post production.
Work with the best local creative and technical talent, and build a support network of both to achieve common goals together.
Open up our vast knowledge of locations in the Highlands and Islands to other production companies and filmmakers looking to shoot in the area.
